Everlane Sustainable Fashion Wishlist

This year my Sustainable Fashion Wishlist is full of items from one of my favorite ethical brands – Everlane. They continue to release amazing products while remaining transparent about the process, factories, and pricing. As my style evolves, every piece that isn’t thrifted needs to be something that can be a staple and is worth paying up for the quality. Every piece I have from Everlane exudes this and stands up against the test of time, so I’ve become a loyal fan.

Here are some of my current faves and I’ve included a sustainable tidbit for each that tells you more about why the product is good for the planet. From recycled materials to ethical factories.

My Sustainable Fashion Wishlist: 2019

The Trainer – in Black w/ Gum Sole

A Sustainable Bit – “The mission: Make the world’s lowest-impact sneakers. Make them to last. Make them carbon neutral. And never stop pushing to make them better.”

The ReNew Long Puffer – in Black

A Sustainable Bit – It’s made entirely (except the zippers) from Everlane’s technical, 100% recycled fabric and is filled with 100% recycled high-performance Primaloft insulation.

The ReCashmere Varsity Cardigan – in Spiced Chai

A Sustainable Bit – Made from premium Italian yarn that’s been recycled for 50% less impact—that means it’s just as soft and beautiful as Everlane’s 100% Grade-A cashmere, but with half the carbon footprint.

The Wide Leg Jean – in Light Indigo

A Sustainable Bit – Made at Saitex, a game-changing denim factory. Unlike typical manufacturers, their LEED-certified facility recycles 98% of its water, relies on alternative energy sources, and repurposes byproducts to create premium jeans—minus the waste.

Modern Loafer – in Camel

A Sustainable Bit – Made in a fare wage, small luxury factory in Italy. Because it’s vegetable-tanned, this leather will also acquire a beautiful patina with wear.

What’s on your sustainable fashion wishlist this year?

Consciously, Lindsey
